Navy Seaman Recruit Justin M. Burton, grandson of Barbara Brunet of Arundel, recently completed Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill. Burton is a 2010 graduate of Bonita Vista High School, Chula Vista, Calif.
Army National Guard Staff Sgt. James J. LeBlanc and Army National Guard Spec. Joseph L. Carroll are returning to the U.S. after deployment to Iraq or Afghanistan. Both are assigned to the 1136th Transportation Company, Bangor.
LeBlanc is a wheeled-vehicle mechanic with 15 years of military service. He is a son of Donald and Linda LeBlanc, Livermore Falls and his wife, Alice, is the daughter of Pat Umphrey, Gray. LeBlanc graduated in 1995 from Livermore Falls High School.
Carroll is the son of Christopher Carroll of New Gloucester and Stacey Carroll of Saco and graduated in 2006 from Gray New Gloucester High School, Gray. He is a motor transport operator with four years of military service.
