PORTLAND — A price-monitoring website says the average retail gasoline price in Maine has risen 4 cents per gallon in the past week to $3.86.

MaineGasPrices.com says Sunday’s price was 98.6 cents per gallon higher than it was the same day one year ago, and is 29.1 cents per gallon higher than a month ago.

Maine’s latest average of $3.86 per gallon also compares with the national average, which has increased 2.8 cents per gallon in the last week to $3.83 per gallon.
