GRAY — Aaron Boulos laid a Freeport rally to waste with a swing of the bat Monday.

Boulos drilled a double to center in the seventh inning to score Austin Keenan and give the Gray-New Gloucester baseball team a 4-3 win over Freeport.

Freeport (0-2) had erased a 3-1 deficit in the top of the seventh. Luke Lamagna doubled and scored to spark the rally.

Keenan hit an RBI double in the second for Gray-New Gloucester (1-1). Heath Martell allowed a run on two hits in six innings but did not factor in the decision.

THORNTON ACADEMY 8, KENNEBUNK 7: Steve Harmon pitched three innings of scoreless relief and singled in the winning run in the bottom of the seventh as Thornton Academy edged Kennebunk at Saco.

Jon Dupee had tied the game with a one-out, two-run homer earlier in the inning. Jeff Gelinas provided a solo homer in the fourth inning as the Trojans battled back from a 7-1 deficit.

BIDDEFORD 8, SANFORD 0: Taylor Reuillard drove in three runs to lead Biddeford as the Tigers shut out the Redskins at Sanford.

Reuillard drove in Scott Callahan for the winning run in the first inning with a double and added a two-run triple in the fourth.

CHEVERUS 4, SCARBOROUGH 1: Catcher Nick Lops hit an RBI triple in the first inning and added an RBI double in the second to lead Cheverus over the Red Storm at Scarborough.

Joey Royer was the winning pitcher for the Stags. He pitched a complete game, scattering seven hits, walking one and striking out 10.

WELLS 7, FALMOUTH 4: Brandon Pridham pitched two scoreless innings of relief to pick up a win as the Warriors (2-0) held off Falmouth (0-1) at Wells.

Wells scored three runs in the bottom of the sixth to break a 4-4 tie.

MEDOMAK VALLEY 8, BELFAST 0: Alex Greenrose had two doubles and three RBI and Isaac Greenrose had two doubles, two runs and two RBI to pace Medomak Valley (1-1) at Belfast (1-1).

Isaac Durkee and John Murray combined on the six-hitter. Brandon Soper chipped in two hits and two runs.

YARMOUTH 11, LAKE REGION 0: Aidan Sullivan gave up just two hits through four innings to earn a win as Yarmouth shut out Lake Region for five innings to claim a mercy-rule victory at Naples. Yarmouth put together five hits in the third inning to score seven runs.

LINCOLN ACADEMY 8, WINSLOW 5: Merritt Wotton went 4 for 4 with a double and drove in two runs for the Eagles (2-0) in their win at Newcastle over the Black Raiders (0-2).

Brandon Reilly also had a strong day at the plate, driving in three runs on two hits, including a home run.

GREELY 8, POLAND 1: Pete Stauber was 3 for 4 with a double, two runs and two stolen bases for Greely (2-0), which broke it open with six runs in the sixth at Poland (0-3).

NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 26, SACOPEE VALLEY 0: Ryan Salerno pitched five innings of one-hit ball, striking out eight batters to earn the win for the Panthers (1-0) over the Hawks (0-1) at South Hiram.

Salerno also had four hits, including a triple and two RBI.

WAYNFLETE 7, OLD ORCHARD BEACH 1: Waynflete’s Charlie LaPrade struck out 10 while pitching a one-hitter against visiting Old Orchard Beach. After surrendering the hit, LaPrade retired the next 14 batters. On offense, LaPrade stole three bases and scored a run.

YORK 11, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 1: Chris Cole had a homer and four RBI and pitched a two-hitter with six strikeouts to lead the Wildcats (2-0) past the visiting Raiders (1-1).

PORTLAND 17, NOBLE 1: Caleb Kenney collected five goals and one assist to lead the Bulldogs (2-0) as they cruised past the Knights (0-3) at North Berwick. Seamus Kilbride added one goal and six assists for Portland.

WAYNFLETE 10, WESTBROOK 6: Chris Burke finished with four goals and one assist and Zander Majercik added two goals and two assists to lead the Flyers (2-0) past the Blue Blazes (1-2) at Westbrook.
