WESTBROOK – Scott Heath hit a three-run double in the seventh inning Thursday to lift Westbrook to a 4-3 victory against Massabesic in a Telegram League baseball game at Olmsted Field.

Massabesic (0-3) took a 3-1 lead into the seventh until the rally by the Blue Blazes (3-0).

Casey Nava had two hits for Massabesic.

 

SOUTH PORTLAND 11, BIDDEFORD 1: Will Bushey had a two-run triple and an RBI single among his three hits, and also scored three runs as the Red Riots (2-1) beat Biddeford (2-1) in five innings at South Portland.

South Portland scored two runs in each of the first two innings before opening an 11-1 lead with five in the third.

Bushey singled in a run and also scored in the third.

Andrew Richards allowed three hits for the Riots.

 

MARSHWOOD 11, NOBLE 1: Ben Claus had a two-run homer and an RBI triple, and finished with five strikeouts over four scoreless innings to lead the Hawks (3-0) over the Knights (1-2) in six innings at South Berwick.

Jack Verrill also knocked in three runs on two hits and Matt Benner drove in two runs on three hits for Marshwood.

Marc Bourgeois led Noble with two hits.

MARSHWOOD 10, BONNY EAGLE 5: Erica Sedler scored five goals and Meghan Lewis had 10 saves as Marshwood (2-0) beat the Scots (0-2) at Standish.

 

MORSE 16, MOUNTAIN VALLEY 10: Tori Fields had five goals and two assists to lead the Shipbuilders (2-0) over Mountain Valley (0-3) at Bath.

Christine Stuart added three goals and three assists, Lindsay Watts also scored three goals and Sadia Crosby had two for the Shipbuilders.

KENNEBUNK 17, DEERING 0: Camile Auger had seven goals, and Rose Bryant and Emily Kessel chipped in three apiece as Kennebunk (2-0) handled visiting Deering (0-2).

Kelly Renk made seven saves for the win.

 

MCAULEY 13, CHEVERUS 9: Samantha Paglia had five goals and two assists as the Lions (1-1) defeated the visiting Stags (0-2) at Portland.

Sadie Dipierro had three goals and an assist, and Claire McLaughlin contributed two goals and an assist for the Lions. Olivia Porch stopped 12 shots for the win.

Alex Logan led Cheverus with three goals and two assists, and Sarah Laquerre finished with two goals.

 

SCARBOROUGH 11, PORTLAND 4: Meghan Quirk, Mary Scott and Maggie Smith each scored three goals to lead the Red Storm (2-0) past Portland (1-1) at Scarborough.

Scarborough goalies Meg Kirsch and Tara Buckley combined for three saves.

Kara Grant had 30 for the Bulldogs.

CAPE ELIZABETH 11, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 1: Janessa White scored three times as the Capers opened with a victory against Fryeburg Academy (0-2) at Cape Elizabeth.

Anna Darling, Paris Bethel and Talley Perkins scored two goals apiece, and Elin Sonesson made four saves for Cape.

 

WESTBROOK 7, WINDHAM 5: Sarah Howard and Katie Conley each had two goals for the Blue Blazes (2-0) against the Eagles (1-1) at Westbrook.

Sarah Bellino had a goal and three assists, and Jess Harris and Elizabeth Boyce also scored. Nicole Miranda made 10 saves for Westbrook.

Samantha Gifford had three goals, Meghan Fullerton and Bebe Butts also scored, and Samantha Buzzell made seven saves for Windham.

CAPE ELIZABETH 7, FALMOUTH 4: Ally Boyington had four hits and two RBI, and was the winning pitcher for the Capers (1-1) against the Yachtsmen (1-2) at Falmouth.

Ali Johnson had three hits, Emily Donovan had two, and Shannon Nicholson and Lauren O’Donnell each drove in two runs.

Kelsey Freedman, Sarah Collmus and Alli Carver had two hits each for Falmouth. Freedman struck out 11.

 

SCARBOROUGH 10, WESTBROOK 1: Mo Hannan had three hits, Lauren Aceto and Abby Rutt each drove in two runs, and Erin Giles struck out nine over six innings as the Red Storm (3-0) defeated the Blue Blazes (1-2) at Scarborough.

Rutt and Alyssa Williamson hit solo homers. Giles, Williamson, Rutt and Lauren Aceto finished with two hits each.

Dominique Burnham pitched the seventh and struck out two for Scarborough.

Kayla Tibbetts had two hits and Kayla Winton homered for Westbrook.
