NEW FACES

The following people have joined P&C Insurance:

Gisele Roy joined the firm as a claims administrator. Roy, of Biddeford, has 30 years of experience in the insurance industry and was previously with Allstate Insurance.

Pam Duranceau joined the firm as marketing coordinator and account executive. Duranceau, of Saco, has several years of experience in the insurance industry.

Owen Foss joined as an accountant in Internet technology support. Foss, a recent graduate of the University of Maine, lives in Portland.

The following people were hired by Creative Work Systems of Portland as life skills coaches: Benjamin Farnum of Limington, William Stewart of Portland, Ashley Perrone of Arundel, Krista Rancourt of Freeport, and Karly Lindgren of Cape Elizabeth.

Kimberly L. Volk joined Aurora Financial Group in Portland as vice president of finance and chief compliance officer.

Volk has more than 15 years of experience in the industry. She was previously chief financial officer at Spinnaker Trust and president of Monument Way Inc.

 John F. Chase, chief executive officer of Chase Custom Homes and Finance, is part of a newly formed team: The Chase Team at RE/MAX By the Bay.

Chase, of Cumberland, and his team have more than 50 years of real estate experience in Maine.

Louise Douglas joined the administrative team at Trask-Decrow Machinery in South Portland.

 Sarah Lyman has joined Friends of Casco Bay as a development and communications assistant. She was previously with the Maine chapter of the March of Dimes.

 Ryan W. Pelletier has been named manager of KeyBank’s branch on East Avenue in Lewiston.

Pelletier, of Lisbon, was previously assistant manager for Bank of America in Brunswick.

Jay Kiel has been named manager and vice president of KeyBank’s branch on Main Street in Gorham.

Kiel, of Gorham, was previously vice president at Gorham Savings Bank in Falmouth. He has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry.

AWARDS and RECOGNITION

 John M. Wallach, of the firm John M. Wallach LLC, has been named as a fellow of the College of Workers’ Compensation Lawyers. He is the first attorney in Maine to be selected.

PROMOTIONS

 Vaida Lowell of Northcross Group was promoted to operations manager.

Lowell joined the company in 2010. With this promotion, she will be taking a larger role in business operations for the company’s Maine and Washington, D.C., offices.

GENERAL

  The media organization Independent Filmmaker Project named Louise Rosen to its 2011 advisory board.

Rosen is a Maine-based international film and television executive who provides project development, financing strategy, consulting and distribution services to independent filmmakers.
