WATERBORO – McAuley scored three times in the seventh inning and remained unbeaten by rallying past Massabesic for a 6-4 victory Wednesday in an SMAA softball game.

Sam Schildroth hit an RBI triple for the Lions (11-0) and Gabby Townsend struck out nine while pitching a five-hitter to earn the win.

Kassidy Hill and Emily Schatz each had two hits for the Mustangs (3-7). 

FRYEBURG ACADEMY 5, FALMOUTH 0: Carla Tripp, Maggie McConkey and Maddy Smith each knocked in a run to lead the Raiders (12-0) past the Yachtsmen (7-3) at Fryeburg.

Sarah Harriman (11-0) pitched a three-hitter with seven strikeouts and four walks. 

LAKE REGION 12, OLD ORCHARD BEACH 1: Allyson Clark gave up one run on one hit while striking out six in six innings as the Lakers (4-6) cruised past the Seagulls (5-5) at Naples.

Clark also had two doubles and drove in two runs. Rachel Wandishin, Kristina Morton and Heidi Jewett added two RBI apiece for Lake Region, which broke open the game with four runs in each of the fourth and fifth innings. 

NOBLE 8, DEERING 1: Amber Kelly threw a two-hitter with seven strikeouts and two walks to help the Knights (6-5) down the Rams (2-8) at North Berwick.

Molly Pritchett had three hits with two RBI. 

KENNEBUNK 8, MARSHWOOD 7: Kelsey Livermore had two hits with a double and two RBI to help the Rams (7-2) get by the Hawks (3-8) at South Berwick.

Janelle Bouchard added two hits and scored a run for Kennebunk, which led 5-2 and 8-4.

Jill Riendeau had two hits and three RBI for Marshwood, which scored three in the seventh and left the tying run on third.

GREELY 5, WELLS 1: Danielle Cimino pitched a one-hitter with five walks and 10 strikeouts as the Rangers (6-5) downed the Warriors (5-5) at Cumberland.

Michelle Kahn and Katie Whittum had two hits apiece for Greely, and Kahn and Edith Aromando each drove in one run.

Sabrina Link had Wells’ hit. 

GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 13, POLAND 1: Maggie Chaplin threw a four-hitter with three strikeouts and no walks as Gray-New Gloucester (6-5) won in five innings at Poland (2-10).

Allie Valente had three hits, and Anna Knapp had two hits with a double for the Patriots.

Kate Bridgham had an RBI double for Poland.

WESTBROOK 4, WINDHAM 2: Kayla Winton had three hits and Katie Clark had two hits with two RBI for the visiting Blue Blazes (4-7) against the Eagles (2-9).

Clark hit a two-run single in the first when Westbrook went ahead, 3-0. Lindsay Driscoll also had two hits for Westbrook.

Morgan Richmond had two hits and Katelyn Tucker scored both runs for Windham. 

SACOPEE VALLEY 19, FREEPORT 0: Amanda Cressey had three hits, three RBI and three runs scored, and the Hawks (10-2) scored eight runs in the second inning and cruised past the Falcons (3-8) in five innings at South Hiram.

Chelsey Burnell added two hits, including a triple, and drove in four runs, and Liz Moulton struck out five and walked three while pitching a two-hitter.

Justine Ruhlin, Julia Vacchiano and Rachel Anderson added two RBI apiece.

SANFORD 6, GORHAM 0: Faith Crosby pitched a four-hitter and Christine Tovey hit a two-run homer as the visiting Redskins (6-4) handled the Rams (4-7).

Kelsey Doiron and Kellie Tovey each had two hits for Sanford.

Caroline Fogerty had three hits for Gorham. 

MT. ARARAT 12, MORSE 0: Miranda Riendeau pitched a three-hitter with five strikeouts and no walks, and had three hits, including two home runs, leading the Eagles (7-5) past the Shipbuilders (1-9) in six innings at Topsham.

Riendeau hit a three-run homer during a six-run second inning, a single in the four-run fifth and forced the mercy rule with a solo homer in the sixth. 

YORK 19, TRAIP ACADEMY 3: Ivy Sheehan went 3 for 4 with a triple and four RBI, and Raegan Heck went 3 for 4 with two doubles and three RBI to lead the Wildcats (2-9) past the Rangers (2-9) at York.

Becca Sarson added two hits and an RBI, and Kelsey Elsmore drove in three runs for York. 

GEORGES VALLEY 2, MONMOUTH ACADEMY 0: Rachel Frye pitched her second no-hitter of the season, and Jesse Veilleux had three hits and an RBI as the Buccaneers (8-0) shut out the Mustangs (6-3) at Thomaston.

The Buccaneers scored twice in the seventh when Veilleux singled home Katlyn Rich and Tamara Wallace scored on a wild pitch.
