WATERVILLE — Nearly 500 students are receiving degrees at Colby College’s 190th commencement ceremony.

Rajiv Shah, the administrator for the U.S. Agency for International Development, is delivering the commencement address at today’s graduation.

The Waterville college is awarding honorary doctorates to Shah, novelist Richard Ford, Cianbro CEO Peter Vigue, philanthropist Bernard Osher and sociologist and African-American studies professor Adelaide Cromwell.

In all, 486 students are graduating.
