NORTH BERWICK – Molly Pritchett scored on a bases-loaded single by Nicole Lanoie with one out in the bottom of the eighth to lift Noble to a 6-5 win over Windham in an SMAA softball game Monday.

Deven Goss hit a two-run triple and Pritchett added an RBI triple during a four-run sixth inning that gave Noble (8-5) a 5-0 lead.

Amber Kelly took a no-hitter into the seventh, but Windham (2-10) rallied to force extra innings. Sarah Richards had a two-run double for the Eagles.

 

SCARBOROUGH 7, MCAULEY 1: Alyssa Williamson hit a two-run single and Erin Giles belted a two-run homer as the Red Storm (10-0) pulled away from the Lions (11-2) at Scarborough.

Scarborough took advantage of two errors to jump out to a 3-0 lead in the first inning.

Williamson made it 5-0 in the third, and Giles homered in the fifth.

Kayla Daigle hit a home run in the fourth inning for McAuley.

 

THORNTON ACADEMY 12, SANFORD 5: Kristen Duross went 4 for 4 with a home run and three RBI for the Trojans (9-2), who scored eight runs in the bottom of the sixth to pull away from the Redskins (7-5) at Saco.

Winning pitcher Julia Geaumont added a double and a home run.

Heather Leblanc had a pair of hits and drove in two runs for Sanford.

BIDDEFORD 11, BONNY EAGLE 4: Alyssa Baldino hit a go-ahead two-run single in the fifth inning, and the Tigers (8-4) added five runs in the sixth to pull away from the Scots (4-6) at Biddeford.

Sarah Gilblair had three hits and drove in a pair of runs for Biddeford.

Mariah Harrison hit a two-run homer for Bonny Eagle.

 

MARSHWOOD 6, WESTBROOK 2: Nicole Harvey threw a two-hitter to lead the Hawks (5-9) over the Blue Blazes (4-9) at South Berwick.

Harvey struck out 10 and hit an RBI double that sparked a five-run fifth.

Jill Riendeau and Savannah Bosse each contributed two hits and an RBI.

 

GORHAM 12, DEERING 0: Alex Tracy allowed three hits over six innings as Gorham (5-8) cruised past visiting Deering (2-10).

Rachel Webster, Mary Redmond and Grace Sunnell each had two hits for Gorham.

KENNEBUNK 10, MASSABESIC 1: Janelle Bouchard had a home run and two RBI as the Rams (10-2) beat the Mustangs (3-8) at Waterboro.

Corinna Burns pitched a four-hitter and also had a pair of hits.

Massabesic pitcher Dani Egan had 11 strikeouts.

 

FRYEBURG ACADEMY 10, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 0: Sarah Harriman pitched a two-hitter with eight strikeouts as the Raiders (14-0) beat the Patriots (6-7) at Gray.

Maggie McConkey had a double and a two-run triple for Fryeburg, which took advantage of three errors in the fifth inning to score five runs and open an 8-0 lead.

Maggie Chaplin and Stephanie Greaton each had a hit for Gray-New Gloucester.

 

LAKE REGION 8, CAPE ELIZABETH 4: Allison Clark drove in three runs with three hits and pitched a four-hitter for the Lakers (6-6) in a win over the Capers (8-5) at Naples.

Heidi Jewett also had three hits for Lake Region.

Ally Boyington hit a three-run triple for Cape Elizabeth.

WELLS 13, TRAIP ACADEMY 2: Kelsey Bragdon struck out 13 and went 3 for 3 with three RBI and two runs scored to lead the Warriors (7-5) past the Rangers (7-5) at Wells.

Meghan Lewia added three hits, two RBI and two runs scored.

Shannon McCrillis hit an RBI single for Traip Academy.

 

YARMOUTH 12, POLAND 2: Julie Dursema and Lauren Wrobleski had two hits apiece to lead the Clippers (12-2) past the Knights (2-12) at Poland.

MT. ARARAT 8, EDWARD LITTLE 5: Taylor Pare hit a two-run single and Shauna Williams added an RBI single as the Eagles (8-5) scored five in the sixth to pull away from the Red Eddies (4-6) at Topsham.

Williams finished with three singles and two runs scored.

LEWISTON 13, MORSE 11: Kati Dumais had three hits for the Blue Devils (3-9), who used a four-run fifth inning to pull away from the Shipbuilders (1-10) at Lewiston.

Emma Seeley had a double and two singles for Morse.

 

MEDOMAK VALLEY 19, MT. VIEW 2: Lindsay Ranquist had a single, a double, a triple and four RBI for Panthers (11-1) in a win over the Mustangs (2-11) at Thorndike.

SOUTH PORTLAND 12, DEERING 9: Nikki LaPlante, Becca Roberts and Anh Nguyen scored three goals apiece as the Red Riots (8-1) rallied past the Rams (3-7) at Portland.

Zahra Abu and Veronica Mitchell each scored three goals for Deering, which held a 6-1 lead in the first half.

 

SCARBOROUGH 7, MARSHWOOD 5: Maggie Smith and Kelsey Howard each scored twice as the Red Storm (9-1) edged the Hawks (5-5) at Scarborough.

Erica Sedler and Mallory McPherson had two goals apiece for Marshwood.

 

WESTBROOK 12, MCAULEY 9: Ciera Bellino collected five goals and an assist to lead the Blue Blazes (3-6) past the Lions (4-5) at Westbrook.

Vanessa Bradbury added three goals and an assist, and Nicole Miranda made eight saves for the Blue Blazes.

McAuley got four goals from Clare McLaughlin, and two goals and two assists from Samantha Paglia.

Michelle Giroux and Jackie Costello each added two goals and an assist, and Allie McCarthy made eight saves.

 

SANFORD 17, NOBLE 6: Brooke Peterson scored six goals to pace the Redskins (6-3) past the Knights (0-9) at Sanford.

Nicole Bordeau added four goals and Haley Nordmann scored three times.

Noble was paced by Steph Ruger with three goals.
