CONCORD, N.H. — Prosecutors say a woman charged with killing her 6-year-old son in New Hampshire and dumping his body on a Maine roadside has waived a court hearing on the evidence against her.

Forty-two-year-old Julianne McCrery of Irving, Texas, was scheduled to be in Hampton District Court Thursday to hear prosecutors outline their case against her.

The body of her son, Camden Hughes, was found under a blanket on a South Berwick back road May 14. Authorities launched a nationwide appeal in search of his identity and his killer.

McCrery was arrested May 17 at a Massachusetts truck stop and arraigned in New Hampshire on second-degree murder.

New Hampshire prosecutors say Hughes was killed in New Hampshire, possibly at a Hampton motel McCrery checked into the night before his body was discovered.
