HART OF MAINE
The HART cat shelter and adoption center in Cumberland has more than 130 cats available, as well as kittens and adult cats in foster care.
HART is open every Saturday and Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., or by appointment. The all-volunteer, no-kill shelter features an open environment where the cats do not live in cages.

Casey is a handsome adult male about 3 years old with long hair and beautiful eyes. He is the most loving, affectionate and fun cat at the shelter. When you walk into the room he makes a beeline for you and flops at your feet for a belly rub, or puts his paws on your knees asking to be picked up. Casey gets along easily with any person or felines.
Domino is a beautiful big adult female tuxedo with long black and white fluffy hair and a very sweet personality. Her owner had to surrender her as she could no longer care for her. Domino has adjusted incredibly well at the shelter and is happy with the other kitties.
