WESTBROOK – Max Pierter had five goals and three assists Wednesday to lead Portland to a 17-5 victory against Westbrook in a schoolboy lacrosse game.

Caleb Kenney added three goals and two assists for the Bulldogs (9-2).

Derrick Payne had four goals and Kevin L’Heureux made 16 saves for Westbrook (4-7). 

SCARBOROUGH 15, MASSABESIC 1: John Wheeler had six goals and an assist to lead the Red Storm (10-1) against the Mustangs (6-4) at Waterboro.

Tim Smith and Jon Blaisdell each added two goals for Scarborough.

Brady Harrison scored for Massabesic. 

MARSHWOOD 10, BIDDEFORD 1: Justin Hockney had three goals and an assist, and Rich Crowley added two goals as Marshwood (5-6) beat the Tigers (1-6) at Biddeford.

Mark Tayloe made 13 saves for the Hawks. 

LEWISTON 10, MT. ARARAT 6: Elliot Chicoine finished with five goals to lead the Blue Devils (10-1) past the Eagles (6-5) at Topsham.

Casey Becker led Mt. Ararat with three goals. 

SOUTH PORTLAND 19, BONNY EAGLE 3: Harrison Keithly had six goals and five assists to lead the Red Riots (7-4) over the Scots (0-10) at South Portland.

Brandon Holmquist added four goals for South Portland. Ryan Cannell scored the three goals for Bonny Eagle. 

WAYNFLETE 11, NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 7: Zander Majercik and Tucker Geoffroy each had three goals and an assist, and Will Hallett stopped 17 shots for the Flyers (9-2) against the Panthers (4-6) at Portland.

Chris Burke and Luke Wendland each added a pair of goals for Waynflete. 

THORNTON ACADEMY 11, WINDHAM 8: Chris Dolewa scored three goals to lead Thornton Academy (8-3) over the Eagles (3-8) at Windham. 

FALMOUTH 14, GREELY 2: Charlie Fay and Mitch Tapley each had four goals and one assist as the Yachtsmen (9-1) handled the Rangers (7-4) at Falmouth. 

YARMOUTH 14, FREEPORT 4: Bart Gallagher had six goals and two assists as the Clippers (6-4) downed Freeport (5-5) at Yarmouth.

Kyle Groves added two goals and two assists, and Nick Ronan and Max Watson scored twice each. Hans Pope scored three times for the Falcons. 

DEERING 10, GORHAM 3: Carleton Allen and Matt Flaherty each had three goals and Nick Holton stopped 12 shots as Deering (10-1) downed Gorham (5-6) at Portland.

Zach Poulin scored two goals for Deering. 

MESSALONSKEE 8, BRUNSWICK 5: Nate DelGuidice scored four goals, including the final three of the game, as Messalonskee (8-1) overtook the Dragons (5-6) in the fourth quarter at Brunswick.

GIRLS

YARMOUTH 13, FALMOUTH 8: Becca Bell scored five goals and Danielle Torres added three as Yarmouth (9-1) pulled away from the Yachtsmen (6-5) at Falmouth.

The Clippers, ahead by two at the half, started widening the lead midway through the second half. 

PORTLAND 10, WESTBROOK 7: Raechel Allen had three goals and three assists for the Bulldogs (6-4) against the Blue Blazes (3-7) at Westbrook.

Catherine Flaherty added three goals for Portland. Vanessa Bradbury scored twice for Westbrook. 

CHEVERUS 12, WINDHAM 10: Sarah Laquerre had five goals and an assist to lead the Stags (2-9) over the Eagles (6-4) at Portland.

Meredith Willard had three goals and an assist, and Ali Saxton stopped seven shots for the Stags. 

BIDDEFORD 13, NOBLE 3: Mallory Morin scored four goals as the Tigers (1-10) downed the Knights (0-10) at Biddeford.

Ann Marie Rowe added three goals and Nikki Matteau had two for Biddeford. 

WELLS 11, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 5: Kelly Beisswanger had four goals and four assists as the Warriors (4-6) downed Fryeburg Academy (0-11) at Wells.

Emily Knight added three goals and Nicki Moody had two for Wells. 

WAYNFLETE 16, YORK 7: Sadie Cole had four goals and three assists, and Liv Chap added four goals as the Flyers (10-1) handled the Wildcats (4-6) at York.

Martha Veroneau and Walker Foehl each scored three goals, and Katherine Torrey made 20 saves for the Flyers.
