SEARSPORT — Fire investigators are going to be looking for the cause of a fire that burned the inside of a heating oil tank at the Irving Oil Terminal in Searsport.

The fire was reported about 4 p.m. Monday.

Irving spokeswoman Carolyn VanDerveen says the rubber seal surrounding the internal floating roof caught fire. No injuries have been reported.

She says there was no fuel in the tank at the time and the fire was contained to the tank.

Crews from at least nine area fire departments and other emergency crews helped fight the fire.
