BOOTHBAY — Police on Tuesday captured a local man wanted in connection with a reported sexual assault of two teenage girls.

Kenneth Dobson, 35, was found hiding in the woods on Murray Hill Road around 5 p.m., said Lt. Michael Murphy of the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department. Sheriff detectives arrested Dobson without incident and charged him with gross sexual assault and violating conditions of release.

Dobson was taiken to the Two Bridges Regional Jail in Wiscasset where he is being held without bail pending an appearance on the release condition violation, Murphy said. Bail was set at $50,000 for each of the two gross sexual assault charges, Murphy said.
