OLD TOWN — An autopsy is scheduled on a 24-year-old Maine man whose body was found in the Penobscot River nearly a week after he went missing.

Police say the body of Jeremy Dimmock, of Old Town, was discovered Sunday morning near a dam in the river.

He was last seen last Monday when he left his apartment for a smoke but never came back.

WLBZ-TV says an autopsy is expected Monday to help determine the cause of death.
