YORK — A New Hampshire man has been arrested and charged with invasion of privacy and disorderly conduct after police allege he took videos of women’s private areas while pretending to tie his shoes.

The York Police Department said the alleged “up-skirting” incident by Kyle Mehlhorn, 18, of Bow, N.H., took place Tuesday afternoon at York’s Wild Kingdom, a local zoo and amusement park.

Mehlhorn admitted to using a mobile device to look up the skirts of several women at York’s Wild Kingdom.

Police investigators found the device and after obtaining a search warrant determined that Mehlhorn may have videotaped women in other communities.

Mehlhorn is free on bail and is scheduled to be arraigned Nov. 10 in York District Court.
