SCARBOROUGH  — A 29-year-old New York man is facing drug trafficking charges after Maine police say they found heroin, crack cocaine, ammunition and a bullet-proof vest during a search of a Scarborough home.

Scarborough police say a regional police SWAT team carried out a search warrant at a Sawyer Road home Wednesday night after neighbors alerted them about suspicious activities.

Police say federal and state drug agents then searched the home and found the drugs.

Police have charged Rahman K. Williams, of Brooklyn.
