Coast Guard Lt. Carl A. Wilson, of Annapolis, Md., son of Christina Kelly of Poland Spring, has graduated from the National Intelligence University in Washington, D.C., with a Master of Science degree in Strategic Intelligence.

 

Air Force Airman San G. You has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. He is the son of Myung Ho and Kum Ok You of Portland and graduated in 2010 from Falmouth High School.

 

Coast Guard Seaman Apprentice Tyler A. Bechard, son of Jennifer and Michael Bechard of Saco, recently graduated from the Coast Guard Recruit Training Center in Cape May, N.J. Bechard is a 2009 graduate of Thornton Academy, Saco.

The second annual “Harvest of Resources Fair” will be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 24 at Nasson Community Center, Springvale. The fair is free and open to all active-duty military, reservists, National Guardsmen, veterans and their families and it offers a variety of resources with representatives from federal, state and local agencies and organizations. Refreshments will be served all day, and there are fun activities planned for children.

 

Air Force Staff Sgt. Joseph C. Shepard was recently promoted to his current rank. He has served in Afghanistan and is now stationed at Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado Springs, Colo. Shepard is the son of Carroll and Shari Shepard of Westbrook and is a graduate of Westbrook High School and the University of Maine.
