WELLS — Traffic is flowing normally again after a tow truck caught fire on the Maine Turnpike.

The fire broke out around 4 p.m. near southbound Exit 19, according to a Maine Public Safety dispatch center. It appears that no one was injured in the fire.

An eyewitness said that the fire was out by 4:30 p.m. and that traffic was flowing again. Traffic had been backed up for about 30 minutes.
