SCARBOROUGH —Scarborough police today identified the man who died last week after falling from an I-295 access road bridge onto Route 1.
Phillip Faulkner, 52, of West Enfield, was seriously injured on Wednesday afternoon after being hit by a passing car. The driver of that car was questioned by police and released.
Faulkner died a few hours later at Maine Medical Center in Portland. Police are still investigating what might have caused Faulkner to fall from the structure.
