LEBANON — A 34-year-old man was in serious condition after being in an skydiving accident this morning.

The man was taken to Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester, N.H., and then flown by helicopter to Boston, according to the Lebanon Rescue Department.

The Rescue Department did not release the man’s name, citing confidentiality rules.

The skydiver landed in a cow field off Lower Barley Road in South Lebanon. His injuries were not believed to be life-threatening at the time.

The man had been sky-diving with Sky Dive New England, which is located in Lebanon. The man had been skydiving more than 3,500 times.

The Rescue Department said it was not clear what caused the accident. The man was located in the middle of a large field. His parachute did deploy and was in good working order.
