OXFORD — The president of a manufactured housing business says the inability of people to get financing for homes is hurting the industry.
Keiser Industries President David Cutler made the comments Monday while U.S. Rep. Mike Michaud was touring his Oxford facility.
Cutler told Michaud that people with good credit can’t get loans.
Michaud was in Oxford as part of his “Make It In Maine” tour, which also included stops in Auburn and Paris.
The Sun Journal says Cutler has received a number of large orders, but to continue keeping his workers busy he says he needs individuals who are willing to buy his product.
