PORTLAND — Road crews are set to begin work on outer Forest Avenue tonight on a half-mile reconstruction project that is expected to take at least two months.

Work on the busy road will occur between Riverside Street and Riverside Industrial Parkway between 7  p.m. and 6 a.m. Sunday through Thursday.

Traffic will be reduced to one lane during that period. The half-mile section of road will be rebuilt and sidewalks and bike lanes will be installed. The work will be suspended in mid-November for the winter and be completed in June.
