PORTLAND — A local man faces charges of aggravated criminal mischief after he allegedly damaged $10,000 in medical equipment at a Portland hospital this morning.
Police were called to Mercy Hospital at 144 State St. at 5 a.m. Hospital workers said a patient had become angry and had thrown a $10,000 EKG machine onto the floor, breaking it.
Police charged Michael McCann, 29. Police could not say what caused McCann to become agitated.
