Timothy Oxton of Vinalhaven was chosen out of about 800 entries in the fundraiser for next year’s Stars and Stripes Spectacular show on the Fourth of July. Subtracting the dealer invoice price of the car, the raffle raised about $20,000 for the show.

Oxton said he plans to celebrate his 17th wedding anniversary with his wife by picking up the car when he comes to the mainland.
