BIDDEFORD – Matt Mc-Kenney and Nick Kilborn each rushed for a pair of touchdowns Friday night to lead Gorham to a 37-7 victory against Biddeford in a Western Class A football game at Waterhouse Field.

McKenney finished with 162 yards on 12 carries, and Kilborn chipped in with 100 yards rushing on 10 carries for the Rams (2-2).

Jonathan Woods also scored and Nick Greatorex caught a pair of 2-point conversions from Damon Wallace for Gorham, which led 22-7 at halftime.

Biddeford (0-4) took a 7-0 lead when Tyler Vigue caught a 15-yard touchdown pass from Nick Leblond in the first quarter.

THORNTON ACADEMY 42, NOBLE 14: Nick Kenney scored his third touchdown of the game on an 81-yard kickoff return to open the third quarter, breaking a tie, and the Trojans (3-1) compiled 28 unanswered points in the second half to down the Knights (0-4) at North Berwick.

Trailing 14-6, Noble tied it when Ethan Beaulier threw a 27-yard touchdown pass to Adam Della-Piana with 26 seconds left in the second quarter, then completed a pass to Jake Bagley on the 2-point conversion.

Andrew Libby rushed for two touchdowns and John Remmes had another for Thornton.

Beaulier also ran for a 62-yard touchdown for the Knights earlier in the second quarter.

WELLS 47, SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 0: Louis DiTomasso rushed for 117 yards and three touchdowns for the Warriors (4-0), who rushed for 319 yards and seven touchdowns to beat Spruce Mountain (1-3) at Wells.

The Wells defense, led by Paul McDonough, Josh Ingalls and Andrew Staples, held the Phoenix without a first down.

TRAIP ACADEMY 29, OLD ORCHARD BEACH 0: Cory Aldecoa totaled 172 rushing yards and three touchdowns to power the Rangers (2-2) past the Seagulls (0-4) at Old Orchard Beach.

Tyler Nay added a score on a 5-yard run.

MARSHWOOD 51, LAKE REGION 14: Reggie Muchemore scored two touchdowns and rushed for 149 yards on nine carries in the first half as the Hawks (1-3) opened a 44-6 lead and cruised past the Lakers (0-4) at South Berwick.

YARMOUTH 54, SACOPEE VALLEY 0: Anders Overhaug scored three touchdowns and had 137 yards rushing as the Clippers (4-0) cruised past the Hawks (0-4) at Yarmouth.

Dennis Erving contributed two touchdowns on 97 yards rushing, Brady Neujahr threw a 29-yard touchdown pass to Caleb Uhl, and Bart Gallagher returned an interception 40 yards for a score.

OCEANSIDE 26, CAMDEN HILLS 7: Matt Zable had three catches for 118 yards and two touchdowns on offense, and intercepted two passes on defense to help Oceanside (2-2) down Camden Hills (0-4) at Rockland.

Zable caught passes of 27 yards and 67 yards in the first quarter from Sam Meklin.

Caleb McFarland ran in an 8-yard TD in the second quarter to keep Camden Hills close, but Zable intercepted a pass from Alex Crans and returned it 12 yards to the Camden Hills 24.

Garrett Burns followed that play with a 23-yard run and Meklin dove in from the 1 to give the Mariners a 20-7 lead at halftime.

Oceanside’s final score was set up by a blocked punt from Tyler Stanis. The Mariners recovered the ball on the 7, and Burns ran for 5 yards to put Travis Stone in position for a 2-yard TD rush.

Meklin completed 4 of 9 passes for 125 yards. Burns finished with 139 yards on 17 carries, and Stone had 44 yards on eight attempts.

Oceanside held the Windjammers to 87 yards rushing and had seven sacks.

WINDHAM 35, KENNEBUNK 3: Damien Shepard rushed for 72 yards and a touchdown on seven carries, returned the opening kickoff of the second half 70 yards for a touchdown, and also had an interception for the Eagles (1-3), who used a 21-point third quarter to pull away from the Rams (1-3) at Windham.

Christian Coons added 89 yards rushing and a pair of touchdowns on 16 carries for Windham. Todd Allen scored on a 3-yard run and Jordan Allen had a pair of interceptions.

Kennebunk’s points came on a 26-yard field goal by Clayton Spang in the second quarter.

MARANACOOK 43, BOOTHBAY REGION 0: Luke Emery rushed for 139 yards on 10 carries and scored four touchdowns as Maranacook (3-1), which took a 30-0 halftime lead, downed the Seahawks (0-4) at Readfield.

The Black Bears scored on their first two drives, with Kyle Evans capping the opener with a 23-yard counter off the left side. Quarterback Caleb Castonguay kept the drive going with a 27-yard completion to Andrew Lachance on third down.

Castonguay completed 3 of 3 passes for 76 yards, all in the first half.

Emery made it 14-0 the next time he touched the ball, breaking tackles on a 41-yard run.

LAWRENCE 48, MT. ARARAT 6: Lawrence (4-0) scored five touchdowns in the first quarter and dominated Mt. Ararat (0-4) at Fairfield.

The Bulldogs led 35-0 after one quarter and 48-0 at halftime. Shaun Carroll ran for touchdowns covering 2, 7 and 37 yards in the first, and Lawrence also scored on Bryant Wade’s 4-yard interception return off a deflection and Spencer Carey’s 25-yard run.

Carroll finished with 107 yards on eight carries for Lawrence, and Josh Doolan picked up 52 yards on eight attempts.
