The Maine Senate has confirmed all of Gov. Paul LePage’s nominees to Maine boards, commissions and judicial posts.

More than 90 of the Republican governor’s nominees won Senate confirmation Tuesday with almost no debate. Nearly all votes were unanimous.

Among the more prominent appointees is Patricia Aho for commissioner of the Department of Environmental Protection. Aho is a former State House lobbyist who represented such groups as the American Chemistry Council, Casella Waste Systems and Verso Paper.

Also winning confirmation were Eric Cioppa as superintendent of insurance and Ann Robinson, who’s served as state Republican Party counsel, to the Maine Public Broadcasting Corp. board.

Former legislator Peter Mills won confirmation as executive director of the Maine Turnpike Authority. He was nominated by the MTA board.
