WINDHAM — The Windham boys’ soccer team took an even matchup and turned it into a rout Tuesday, knocking off Marshwood 4-1.

Both teams now have 6-2 records.

Robby Lentine had three goals and an assist to lead the Eagles.

Brian Soucy added a goal and an assist for Windham. Jeff Graunke scored for Marshwood.

 

SOUTH PORTLAND 2, KENNEBUNK 0: Namanja Kaurin and Damjan Draskovic scored four minutes apart in the second half to lift South Portland (5-2-1) over the Rams (3-3-2) at Kennebunk.

Will Bushey set up Kaurin’s goal four minutes into the second half. Draskovic added an unassisted goal four minutes later.

South Portland keeper Shawn Shannon had four saves, while Kennebunk’s John Burns stopped eight.

 

SCARBOROUGH 1, DEERING 0: Austin Downing scored from Trevor Sparda with about 18 minutes left and the Red Storm (6-0-2) held off the visiting Rams (3-4).

Sparda slid the ball from the left side to Downing, who, from 25 yards out, turned and sent a bending shot into the right top corner of the goal.

Pat Stanton stopped one shot for the win. Jamie Gullbrand made 11 saves for Deering.

NOBLE 4, MASSABESIC 2: Jake Emard had two goals in Noble’s (2-6) victory over Massabesic (1-7) at Waterboro.

Massabesic took an early lead on a goal from Jake Pelchat. The Knights tied it up with a penalty kick taken by Brandon Vigneault. Jake Emard’s first goal gave Noble a 2-1 lead at the half.

Pelchat scored again 40 seconds into the second half. Jake Emard and Josh Emard both had second-half scores to put the game away.

 

A.R. GOULD 2, CHOP POINT 1: Helon Sirois had an unassisted goal in the first half for the Blue Bears (3-3) before Michael Clapp and Moses Losuk netted the equalizer and the game-winner in the second half to lead the Bears (4-3) to victory at South Portland.

WESTBROOK 4, BONNY EAGLE 1: Kyle Gaudreau had three goals and Owen Gillis also scored as the Blue Blazes (2-5-1) handled the Scots (2-6) at Westbrook.

Austin Blake made five saves for the win. Jeremy Collins scored, and Jeff Martin and Matt Willis combined for seven saves for Bonny Eagle.

 

GORHAM 7, SANFORD 0: Chandler Regan had two goals and Drew Hopkins added a goal and an assist as the Rams (6-2) handled the Redskins (1-7) at Sanford.

Alex Owens, Kevin Lubelczyk, Michael Lubelczyk and Jesse Orach also score scored and Carter Bowers stopped three shots for the win.

Jimmy Parks made 18 saves for Sanford.

 

CAMDEN HILLS 5, MORSE 0: Malcolm Steele worked the ball to Sam Predham who scored the game-winning goal with 28 seconds left in the first half of Camden Hills’ win over Morse (5-3) at Bath.

Camden (7-0) took a 2-0 lead with 28 minutes left in the game on a penalty kick. Andrew Flanagan, Ben Welt and Predham all added goals in the late going.

 

MOUNTAIN VIEW 1, OAK HILL 0: Trevor Diemer’s penalty kick with 5:20 left in the second half was the only goal in Mountain View’s win over Oak Hill at Thorndike. Mountain View goalie Chris Montimony recorded six saves for the shutout. Oak Hill’s Sam Morin stopped nine.

HALL-DALE 1, LISBON 1: Matt Reeves’ unassisted goal in the second half drew the host Greyhounds into the Mountain Valley Conference tie.

Sam Shepherd gave Hall-Dale a 1-0 lead with a first-half goal assisted by Ben Crocker. Hall-Dale goalie Zach McNaughton made eight saves while John Smith made 11 for Lisbon. Both teams are 6-1-1.
