STANDISH – Sam Campobasso assisted on both goals Wednesday night to lead Bonny Eagle to a 2-0 victory against Westbrook in a Southern Maine Activities Association schoolgirl soccer game.
The Scots (3-6) scored a goal in each half against the Blue Blazes (1-7).
Andrea Polayo scored on a cross from Campobasso after 21 minutes.
Haley Thorne scored for Bonny Eagle in the second half after Campobasso outraced the ball to the end line and passed back in front.
Marissa Butler needed 16 saves for her first shutout of the year.
Sammantha Russell had 18 saves for the Blue Blazes.
