PARIS — A 14-year-old boy has died after he drove his all-terrain vehicle into the back of another ATV being driven by a friend in Paris.
Paris police say Albert Roberti Jr. and a friend were riding their three-wheelers on Elm Hill Road late Wednesday afternoon when the friend slowed his machine to let a horse cross their path.
Roberti crashed into the back of his friend’s ATV and died at the scene. He was a freshman at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School.
Chief David Verrier told the Sun Journal of Lewiston that the other teenager was taken to Stephens Memorial Hospital, where he was treated and released.
