More than a dozen drivers will return to the track where they got their start when the Pro All Star Series crowns its champions in all divisions today at Oxford Plains Speedway.

Top drivers in the regional series’ three divisions began their careers at the 3/8-mile track in Oxford.

The Oxford Plains alumni include PASS North’s Super Late Model points leader Johnny Clark of Hallowell.

Clark, the defending champion, holds an insurmountable 119-point lead over Lonnie Somerville of St. John’s, New Brunswick.

Other top drivers from the tour’s top division who raced at OPS on a regular basis are: Ben Rowe of Turner, Travis Benjamin of Morrill, Mike Rowe of Turner, Scott Chubbuck of Dresden, D.J. Shaw of Center Conway, N.H., and Richie Dearborn of Hollis.

The points races in the other PASS divisions are still up for grabs.
