WINDHAM – Brian Soucy scored the winning goal from 20 yards Saturday as Windham downed Scarborough 3-2 in a Southern Maine Activities Association schoolboy soccer game.

Soucy also had an assist on an earlier goal in the game that matched the top two teams in in the Western Class A Heal point standings.

Marc Reynolds and Robbie Letini scored to give second-ranked Windham (7-2) a 2-1 halftime lead.

Austin Downing and Andrew Jones had goals for top-ranked Scarborough (6-1-2).

TRAIP ACADEMY 5, WELLS 2: Ralph Humiston scored twice and Christian Montembeau made six saves to help Traip Academy (2-7) down the Warriors (0-7) at Wells.

Caleb Kilgore, Josh Schneier and Alex Bailey also scored for the Rangers. Brandon Morton and Noah French answered for Wells.

FRYEBURG ACADEMY 3, SACOPEE VALLEY 0: Stefan Sjekloca, Wyatt Andreoli and Milos Mojokov scored as the Raiders (5-5) shut out the Hawks (7-1-2) at Fryeburg.

YARMOUTH 4, POLAND 2: Ryan Maguire scored 6:26 into the second half to break a 2-2 tie and lift the Clippers (7-2-1) over the Knights (2-7) at Poland.

After Ethan Cyr gave Yarmouth a 1-0 lead 2 minutes in, Nathan Rybeck answered a couple of minutes later. Ben Decker gave the Clippers a 2-1 lead before Nigel Williams tied it before halftime.

Cyr found Maguire to give Yarmouth the lead for good and Eamon Costello made it 4-2.

NOBLE 2, SANFORD 1: D.J. Cloutier scored from Josh Emard with 1:15 left as the Knights (3-6) squeezed by the Redskins (1-8) at North Berwick.

Brandon Vigneault tied it for Noble on a first-half penalty kick after Jimmy Parks scored for Sanford.

GREATER PORTLAND CHRISTIAN 9, ACADIA CHRISTIAN 0: Eric Pearson and David Davol scored two goals apiece, and Adam Simpson collected one goal and three assists for the Lions (5-4), who scored seven first-half goals and cruised past the Seahawks (1-7) at South Portland.

Sam Whiting added a goal and an assist, and Jordan Peters, Luke Bennett and Ben Roach also scored.
