BANGOR — The man convicted of killing a teenager in a fight on a Bangor street will be facing a minimum of 25 years in prison when he is sentenced.

Twenty-year-old Zachary Carr of Bangor will be sentenced on Dec. 2. He could get life in prison.

In March a jury found Carr guilty of murder in the shooting of 19-year-old John “Bobby” Surles of Bangor. Surles died the day after the Jan. 27, 2010 shooting.
