BERWICK — Berwick police are investigating a rash of car burglaries that occurred Thursday night or this morning.
Police had 10 such burglaries reported this morning, in which GPS units, cash, binoculars and tools were taken. The thief bypassed locked cars and only took items from unlocked vehicles, police said.
The burglaries occurred in driveways off Wendy Lane, Keay Road, Ridlon Road and Thomas Drive.
One local man spotted a male youth at 4 a.m. but did not notify police until later that morning.
