WHEN: 3:30 p.m. today

WHERE: Bridgeforth Stadium, Harrisonburg, Va.

TV/RADIO: CSN (Time Warner Channel 28)/WLOB (1310 AM)

MAINE: In the national rankings for the first time in more than two years, the Black Bears look to take the momentum from last weekend’s win over Delaware and square off against their second nationally ranked opponent in eight days. Maine’s offense found a balance between passing and rushing last week, totaling 477 yards, and its defense needs to remain consistent against the Dukes, in spite of getting extra reps last week against the Blue Hens. Senior tailback Pushaun Brown has recorded at least 100 yards in six straight games, including a 193-yard, three-touchdown performance against Delaware.

JAMES MADISON: Defense defines the Dukes so far this season. James Madison leads the CAA in rushing defense, allowing just 85.8 yards a game, and total defense, giving up an average of 297.8 yards a game. Yet James Madison had to regroup prior to last week’s 31-7 win over Richmond after quarterback Justin Thorpe and linebacker Chase Williams were suspended – with Thorpe suspended five games for a violation of school policy. The Dukes lead the CAA in rushing (228.4 yards) but could be without running back Dae’Quan Scott, who left last week’s win at Richmond with a shoulder injury.
