NEW GLOUCESTER — A suspect in the murder of a 22-year-old Lewiston woman was arrested at his girlfriend’s house in New Gloucester Thursday night.

State police and Lewiston police arrested Buddy Robinson, 30, on the Gloucester Road at 11:30 p.m. and he was taken to Androscoggin County Jail.

Robinson is charged with killing Christiana Fesmire, who disappeared July 1. Her body has not been recovered.

Police searched an apartment on Highland Avenue in Lewiston where both Robinson and Fesmire lived and collected evidence leading them to charge Robinson. Police say he killed the woman there and then took her body elsewhere.
