GRAY — Olivia Dubois scored the first goal and Old Orchard Beach went on to a 3-1 victory against Gray-New Gloucester in a Western Maine Conference schoolgirl soccer game Thursday night.

Amy Twohig and Jess DeRepentigny added goals for the Seagulls (8-4) against the Patriots (4-8-1).

MARSHWOOD 2, BONNY EAGLE 1: Lydia St. Pierre and Mikaylah Little each converted assists from Jillian Gori to lift Marshwood (5-7-1) over the Scots (3-10) at South Berwick.

SCARBOROUGH 7, WESTBROOK 0: Haley Carignan and Hadlee Yescott scored two goals each for the Red Storm (9-1-2) against Westbrook (1-11) at Scarborough.

Ashley Ronzo, Andrea Tolman and Jess Meader also scored, and Sydney Marten made three saves for the shutout. Samantha Russell stopped 14 shots for the Blue Blazes.

TRAIP ACADEMY 4, LAKE REGION 0: Christian Montembeau stopped five shots for the shutout for the Rangers (4-9) against the Lakers (0-12) at Naples.

Garrett Rosen, Evan Pereira, Josh Schneier and Caleb Kilgore also scored.

FOOTBALL

THE FOOTBALL game between Messalonskee and Mt. Ararat was postponed from tonight to 7 p.m. Saturday at Topsham because of the threat of rain.

THORNTON ACADEMY will hold a parent informational meeting for winter athletics at 6 p.m. Nov. 9 in Garland Auditorium.
