PORTLAND — Nine businesses were honored by Portland Buy Local at the group’s 4th annual meeting Tuesday night.
The Indie Biz Awards, handed out at the SPACE Gallery, recognize independently owned businesses.
The winners are: Longfellow Books, named Soul of Portland; Silly’s restaurant, Flavor of Portland; Lucid Stage, Portland’s Best-Kept Secret; Portland Farmer’s Market, Environmental Hero; Sebago Brewing Company, Community Hero; Portland Farmer’s Market, Business With No Front; Coffee By Design, Global Hero; Athlete’s Touch, Best New Business; and Micucci Grocery & Wholesale Foods, Portland Icon.
More than 100 people attended the event.
