FALMOUTH — Falmouth Memorial Library is closed because of water damage caused by a leaking fire sprinkler system.

About an inch of water flooded the circulation area and children’s room, said Andi Jackson-Darling, assistant library director.

A work crew is removing the water. The library is expected to reopen Saturday as early as 9:30 a.m Patrons should check the library’s website or Facebook page for updates.
