LEBANON — Maine State Police are investigating a shooting death in Lebanon Thursday night but have not charged anyone in the incident. 

Police say 38-year-old Aaron Jones, originally from Skowhegan, had been living at the Lebanon home of Joseph and Sarah Turner at 213 Oak Hill Road, said State Police spokesman Steve McCausland. The shooting took place around about 11:30 p.,m. McCausland says the Turners were home and have been questioned and are cooperating with investigators.

Detectives are investigating the circumstances and the attorney general and state medical examiner have been briefed.  The dead man’s body will be taken to the Medical Examiner’s Office in Augusta for an autopsy.
