What’s new: Dead bolt operates with key fob
SimpliciKey lets you unlock your home with the touch of a button, just as you do a car.
SimpliciKey is a remote-control electronic dead bolt that can be operated by a key fob that works up to 50 feet away, as well as by a key pad or a regular key.
The wireless key pad can accommodate up to 16 user codes and can be reprogrammed easily, so you can give someone a code to get into your home and then change it afterward.
The lock works on four AA batteries and can fit either right- or left-hand doors.
SimpliciKey is available in polished brass, satin nickel or aged bronze. It can be ordered at simplicikey.com for $249.99 or homedepot.com for $229. Both offer free shipping.
