LEWISTON – A young woman’s body was discovered this afternoon inside her Oxford Street apartment and police are calling her death suspicious.
Stephen McCausland, spokesman for the Maine Department of Public Safety, said state and Lewiston police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of 26-year-old Samantha Folsom.
Her body was found by her parents Wednesday afternoon. They had gone to check on her well being after not having heard from her.
Folsom lived in a third floor apartment at 64 Oxford St. She was currently unemployed and is a former resident of Greene.
