WINSLOW — A young Winslow man died late Friday after the car he was driving struck a tree on South Pond Road, police said.
Daniel Clark, 19, was driving a 2003 Nissan 350Z when it crashed about a half-mile from his home, Officer Damon Lefferts said.
The accident was reported at 11:40 p.m., and Clark was alone in the car, Lefferts said.
Police had not determined how fast Clark was going when the car left the road.
Clark was a 2011 graduate of Mid-Maine Adult Community Education. He also attended Winslow High School, where he played hockey.
