Navy Petty Officer 3rd Class Jacob T. Barter, son of Michael Barter of Brunswick, recently completed the Navy Nuclear Power Training Unit course with Nuclear Power Training Unit, Ballston Spa, N. Y. Barter is a 2004 graduate of Brunswick High School and joined the Navy in October 2009.
Coast Guard Seaman Robert J. Thorne, son of Robin and Jonathan Thorne of Limerick, recently graduated from the Coast Guard Recruit Training Center in Cape May, N. J. Thorne is a 2007 graduate of Massabesic High School, Waterboro.
Marine Corps Pfc. Troy Fogg has recently graduated from Marine Corps basic training at Parris Island, S.C. He is the son of Richard and Mary Fogg and Lisa Fogg, all of Westbrook, and is a 2011 graduate of Westbrook High School.
