BRUNSWICK — The Maine medical examiner’s office has determined the cause of death of the man whose body was found in Brunswick but his identity remains a mystery.
Investigators appealed Tuesday for the public’s help in identifying the body found Thursday near a small campsite along railroad tracks in Brunswick.
The medical examiner’s office says the man had a catheter, so it’s likely he was under a doctor’s care. The man is believed to have been between 50 and 65 years old; he was approximately 5-foot-7 and 160 pounds with salt and pepper hair. He was wearing tan pants, a brown knit hat, black boots and two orange sweat shirts under a coat.
For now, the man’s cause of death is being withheld.
Anyone with information about the body or the man’s identity is asked to call Brunswick police at 725-5521.
