CEDAR PARK, Texas – Julian Wright scored 18 points to lead seven Austin Toros in double figures in a 112-82 rout of the Maine Red Claws in an NBA Development League game at the Cedar Park Center.

Maine (18-27) lost the lead for good just 3:26 into the first quarter on a layup by Da’Sean Butler that started a 16-6 run.

Austin (28-16) led 28-21 after one quarter and poured it on in the second, but not before Maine cut the lead to 30-27 on two free throws from Maurice Almond.

The Toros scored the next 10 points and closed the quarter with an 11-4 run for a commanding 62-39 lead.

The Toros, who made 44 of 86 field goals, held their lead above 30 for much of the second half.

Other Austin top scorers were Luke Zeller (17 points), Cory Joseph (15), Jamarr Sanders (15), Lester Hudson (13), Josh Davis (12) and Terrance Woodbury (10).

Almond had a another strong all-around game for Maine, scoring his usual 23 points and grabbing eight rebounds.
