PORTLAND — A group of former Boston Bruins will play a co-ed team from high schools in the Portland area at 7 p.m. Friday at the Cumberland County Civic Center.
The high school seniors will play against a squad that will include former Bruins Reggie Lemelin, Ken Hodge, Bruce Shoebottom, Ken Linseman, Don Marcotte, David Shaw and Peter Douris.
The event is an annual fundraiser for the Portland Firefighters Local 740.
The game between the high school all-star team and the Bruins alumni will be preceded by a 6 p.m. game between a team of Portland policemen and firefighters and a squad of Bangor firefighters.
Tickets are available at the door for a suggested donation of $10. Children under 12 will be admitted for free. Doors open at 5 p.m.
