BIDDEFORD — Authorities this morning identified the person who was struck and killed by a Downeaster train Monday.
Sean Page, 40, of Biddeford was killed in the incident, according to Christina Leeds, a spokewoman for Amtrak, which operates the Portland-to-Boston passenger service.
The incident took place around 3 p.m. near Main, Cutts and State streets.
Page was struck whlie walking on the right of the way. No one else was injured in the incident.
Amtrak, Pan Am Railways and Biddeford police are investigating.
