PORTLAND – Louie Di-Stasio struck out nine in a complete-game victory Friday as Cheverus rolled to an 11-3 victory against Bonny Eagle in a Telegram League baseball game.

DiStasio gave up 11 hits but walked just one.

Cheverus third baseman Brandyn Chretien made three stellar defensive plays to foil Bonny Eagle rallies.

Tyler Flaherty, Cam Mullen and Drew Ferrick drove in two runs each for the Stags, who led 5-3 before putting the game away with a six-run sixth.

Matt Burnell led the Scots with three hits, and Devin Butler drove in two runs with a single in the fifth.

BIDDEFORD 10, SOUTH PORTLAND 4: Winning pitcher Bob Cote drove in two runs and scored twice to help the Tigers win at Biddeford.

Taylor Reuillard knocked in three runs and Patrick Wilson added two RBI for the Tigers.

Cote lasted into the fifth inning, giving up two unearned runs with five strikeouts.

DEERING 7, MASSABESIC 1: Nick DiBiase struck out eight and allowed three hits to lead Deering at Portland.

The Rams took a 3-0 lead in the second inning when Dominic Arris hit a two-run homer.

GORHAM 6, KENNEBUNK 0: Elliot Speirs pitched a three-hitter as Gorham won at Kennebunk.

Speirs walked one and struck out five. He also had an RBI single during a thee-run fourth inning as Gorham took the lead.

SANFORD 10, PORTLAND 5: Ryan Camire allowed three runs on eight hits and struck out five for Sanford at Portland.

Abbott Mackey knocked in two runs with a two-out single as the Redskins scored five runs in the third inning to take a 6-2 lead.

WELLS 4, YARMOUTH 3: Joe Spinelli doubled with the bases loaded in the bottom of the seventh inning to drive in the tying and winning runs for the Warriors at Wells.

The Clippers led 2-0 after three innings. Louis DiTomasso got Wells started in the fourth, scoring on a sacrifice fly after hitting a double.

WESTBROOK 4, NOBLE 0: Joe Dvilinsky pitched a three-hitter for the Blue Blazes at Westbrook.

Keenan Lowe and Kyle Heath hit RBI triples in a three-run fourth inning.

MEDOMAK VALLEY 7, CAMDEN HILLS 6: Medomak Valley used a six-run fifth inning to take the lead for good at Rockport.

LINCOLN ACADEMY 11, OCEANSIDE 1: Dalton Leeman gave up four hits, struck out eight and allowed no runs through five innings to lead Lincoln Academy (2-0) over Oceanside (1-1) at Rockland.

FRYEBURG ACADEMY 6, POLAND 5: Ian MacFawn singled in the tying run in the seventh inning, and the Raiders (2-0) squeezed home the winner to edge Poland (0-2) at Fryeburg.

Bill Rascoe and Kyle Bonner had two-run doubles in the third to help Fryeburg take a 4-1 lead.

SCARBOROUGH 9, THORNTON ACADEMY 3: Joe Cronin and Craig Viola homered for Scarborough at Saco.

Cronin hit a two-run shot in the fifth and Viola added a solo homer in the sixth.

MEDOMAK VALLEY 4, CAMDEN HILLS 0: Amanda Hendrickson hit a two-run triple in the first inning for Medomak Valley at Camden.

OCEANSIDE 10, LINCOLN ACADEMY 5: Rachel Frye struck out 13 and drove in four runs as Oceanside (2-0) downed Lincoln Academy (1-1) at Rockland.

FRYEBURG ACADEMY 10, POLAND 0: Carla Tripp went 4 for 4 with four runs and an RBI to lead the Raiders (2-0) over Poland (1-1) at Fryeburg.

Maddie Pearson had three hits and two RBI for the Raiders.

MORSE 14, LINCOLN ACADEMY 7: Otto Werwaiss scored seven goals as Morse opened by beating the Eagles (0-2) at Newcastle.
