OLD ORCHARD BEACH – Police are calling the death of a man whose body was discovered behind an apartment house highly suspicious.
The man was identified late Saturday night as Roger White, 49, of Old Orchard Beach. White’s body was found behind 29 Old Orchard St. about 9 a.m. by a nearby resident.
Stephen McCausland, spokesman for the Maine Department of Public Safety, declined to provide details about why police consider the death suspicious.
An autopsy will be performed Sunday at the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Augusta to determine the cause of death, McCausland said.
