BIDDEFORD – Abbie Paquette tossed a complete game and singled home Mariah Albert with the winning run in the bottom of the seventh to lead Biddeford to a 4-3 win over Sanford in softball Wednesday.

Paquette finished with three hits and three RBI for the Tigers (1-3). She struck out five and allowed eight hits and two walks in her first varsity win.

Katelyn Lebreux added two hits with a double and an RBI for Biddeford.

Sanford lost after winning its first three. 

SACOPEE VALLEY 12, GREELY 7: Rachel Anderson knocked in three runs on two hits as the Hawks (3-0) defeated the Rangers (1-1) at Cumberland.

Caroline Hamilton knocked in one run on four hits for Greely and Edith Aromando added three hits and an RBI.

WESTBROOK 12, MASSABESIC 0: Heather Bailey singled, tripled and drove in four to help the Blue Blazes (2-2) beat the visiting Mustangs (3-1) in five innings.

Kayla Tibbetts struck out four and walked one in a two-hitter. 

WINDHAM 11, DEERING 3: Katelyn Tucker and Sara Richards had two doubles each, and Logan Genest knocked in two runs on two hits to lead the Eagles (1-2) past the Rams (0-3) at Windham. 

MCAULEY 2, CHEVERUS 0: Sam Libby pitched a shutout and hit the winning triple in the sixth inning as McAuley (1-1) nipped host Cheverus (0-3).

Libby gave up five hits and struck out 13. 

OCEANSIDE 15, BELFAST 1: Natalie Russell doubled, homered and drove in three to help the Mariners (4-0) down the Lions (0-3) in five innings at Rockland.

POLAND 8, WELLS 6: Katrina Seeley had three doubles and two RBI for the Knights (2-2), who scored five runs in the sixth to take an 8-5 lead over the Warriors (0-3) at Poland.

Meghan Young had a three-run double for Wells in the second. 

CAPE ELIZABETH 4, FALMOUTH 0: Emma Goldstein pitched a two-hitter to lead the Capers (1-0) over the Yachtsmen (1-1) at Falmouth.

The Capers scored two runs in the first on a double by Emmy Ham and a single by Allie Johnson. Ashley Tinsman drove in the other two runs on a triple in the fifth. 

THORNTON ACADEMY 2, SOUTH PORTLAND 0: Julia Geaumont pitched a two-hit shutout as Thornton Academy (3-0) downed the Red Riots (1-2) at South Portland.

Geaumont struck out 11 and walked one.

TELSTAR 6, WISCASSET 4: Jessica Dirago stuck out seven and walked three as Telstar (1-0) beat Wiscasset (1-1) at Wiscasset.

Telstar scored three runs in the top of the seventh to win. 

SCARBOROUGH 12, GORHAM 0: Erin Giles struck out 10 and surrendered just one hit as Scarborough (4-0) shut out Gorham (1-1) at Gorham.

Marisa O’Toole knocked in three runs for the Red Storm. 

NOBLE 13, PORTLAND 0: Amber Kelly threw a one-hit shutout, striking out seven to lead the Knights (3-0) over the Bulldogs (0-3) at Portland. 

KENNEBUNK 11, MARSHWOOD 6: Hannah King struck out 10 for the Rams (2-0), who took an 8-1 lead in the first four innings against the Hawks (1-2) at South Berwick.

LAKE REGION 13, YARMOUTH 1: Kayleigh Lapage had two hits with three RBI and Rachel Wandishin had two hits with two RBI as the Lakers (1-1) handled the Clippers (2-1) at Yarmouth.

MARSHWOOD 11, YORK 8: Janay Wright netted eight goals to power the Hawks (1-0) past the Wildcats (1-2) at South Berwick.

Ruby Cribby and Shelby Spencer each scored twice for York. 

MOUNTAIN VALLEY 23, LINCOLN ACADEMY 7: Ayla Allen finished with six goals and Chelsea Bordeau added five to lead the Falcons (1-1) past the Eagles (0-2) at Newcastle. 

SOUTH PORTLAND 14, SANFORD 2: Olivia Edwards scored five goals to lead South Portland in a rout of host Sanford (0-1). 

BONNY EAGLE 6, WESTBROOK 0: Bonny Eagle goalie Alisha Hoyt had 11 saves to post a shutout over the Blue Blazes (0-1) at Westbrook. The Scots (1-0) had three goals from Jessica MacDonald and two from Rachel Litif. 

WAYNFLETE 13, YARMOUTH 2: Sadie Cole and Walker Foehl scored four goals apiece for Waynflete (2-0) in a victory over visiting Yarmouth (0-2).
